Truthbeknown is a very heavy hardcore band from Norton, Virginia comprised of a teacher, a psychologist, a social worker, a pharmacy technician and an actor/student. TBK released their debut album "Stealing Stones to Build Tomorrow" on Blood and Ink Records in 2002. TBK has performed with bands ranging from Hatebreed to Zao to Beloved. Currently the band is writing new material for an upcoming release on an undetermined label tenatively entitled "The Blood Stays On the Blade".
Answer to a commonly asked question/misperception about truthbeknown:
While four out of the five members of TBK are of the Christian faith, TBK is not a worship or witness band. We believe our faith and shared values are evident in our actions and our words. While all of us are quite unashamed of our beliefs and convictions, we do not fell a need to exploit our personal faith(s) to sell records. If this keeps you from supporting or enjoying our music, we'd like to take this opportunity to tell you that we do not care.
